1. Great Instagram post I saw this week…
Below is an Instagram post (from Farmer’s Footprint) that highlights the INCREDIBLE HEALING POWER of nature. We underappreciate and underutilize the natural, free, and powerful environment around us. Take a moment to read these scientific findings related to birdsong, green spaces, aquatic environments, earthing (a.k.a. grounding), sunlight, forest bathing, and soil. If nothing else… we need to ADD these things into our daily lives! (Thanks to Lana, for always finding and sharing great clips, quotes, and images with me!) Check it out by clicking here. 2. Three questions I ask myself…
Any time a patient tells me about the loss of a loved one, I take a quick moment to ask myself these three questions… Do I love what I am doing? Is there anything I really want or anywhere I really want to go? Is there anything I need to say to anyone? As most of us know… life is SHORT! It helps to reflect occasionally to ensure you are on the right track, living the life you ought to be living, and living fully. Nobody wants regret on their deathbed. So, I quickly ask myself those three questions every time someone tells me about the death of someone they knew.
3. Quote(s) I love…
“We suffer more often in imagination than in reality.” -Seneca
True! True! True! We have to be careful how our minds work and where they take us… in imagination more than reality. It’s worth re-posting (I’ve posted it before) another favorite quote by Jim Rohn… “Stand guard at the door of your mind.”
**Thank you!!!**
Thanks to all of you who were able to donate a HUGE amount of personal hygiene products to Our Community Hunger Center here in Twinsburg. I am continuously impressed and amazed with the generosity of our patients. We were also able to donate $475 from our new patient promo tied to this event. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So fun to help make a difference in the lives of others. See the pic below of the last batch we delivered (we had already delivered 3 other loads!)…
